Questions people ask first
Is there still a 30% federal tax credit for solar?
Not for a new home system. The federal residential solar credit ended for systems completed after December 31, 2025, so anyone still advertising it for an install today is out of date. Rob will walk you through what does apply to your home, including any state programs, on the call.
What does "no upfront cost" actually mean?
With Solar Energy World's Savings+ program you do not pay for the equipment up front. You pay a monthly rate instead, which you can lock for 25 years or 5 years, and maintenance is included. Buyout and early prepayment are available. You will see the exact terms for your home before you decide anything.
How do I know whether my roof will work?
Direction, shading and the age of the roof all matter. They are checked as part of the free estimate, and if your roof is not a good fit you will be told so plainly.
Is this a sales call?
It is a consultation. Rob explains your options and the numbers, and you decide in your own time. There is no obligation and no cost for the estimate.
What should I have ready?
A recent electric bill. The usage on it is what sizes the system, so it makes the estimate far more accurate.
